Can You Record on Sky Glass?

A quick answer, Sky Glass doesn’t have any built-in feature screen recorder. And it does not offer any on-board storage so there is no way to record without any third-party applications’ help. 

The cloud recording is not very ideal too given that Sky Glass does not provide any cloud storage.

The only method is to use a TV capture card to download anything to your TV. With capture cards, you can record any content from any channel without restrictions. 

Here Are the Steps to Record Sky Glass

Step 1. Buy a screen/game capture card. (You can buy a capture card on Amazon easily, though the price may be a little bit higher than you presume.)

Step 2. Connect your capture card to your TV using a HDMI cable. 

Step 3. Press the ‘Record’ button on your capture card to do a screen recording. 

Step 4. Safely remove the capture card out of your TV, and connect it to your PC to transform the footage into MP4 format.
